| Role: Data Scientist Location - Onsite Need locals only from Gaithersburg MD Duration: 12+ month contract Experience: 10+ Years We need someone who has worked for a recent telecom company because the project is heavily involving network communications Description: What will make this person successful is their ability to convey the analysis of their data in laymans terms to business executives. Give presentations with confidence and clarity, using excellent command of English language. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or related technical field, MS Preferred 10+ years of technical experience doing data science 5+ years of experience performing data science and programming 5+ years of experience using AWS Cloud technology Must have strong DS design knowledge and has experience in some ML/Ops/DevOps Knowledge of building machine learning models using Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or other open-source libraries Identify innovative solutions that apply data science, AI/ML technology to the problem so that a development team can then take that and build an application that leverages the DS approaches 5+ years of experience programming using C/C++, java, Python, Go and Pandas. Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL , snowflake, and Big Query. Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries in Python/R (Shiny preferably) Or Tableau. Familiarity with software version control with git.
