This role is more than just coding. We need a database developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Education must be in Computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or technical equivalent Required skills: 8+ years experience in an information technology role 3+ years designing, developing, and releasing Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures 3+ years unit testing of application and stored procedure code 3+ years' experience using Java and Java frameworks (Spring) 3+ years developing, modifying, and maintaining client/server application Develop/implement regression testing scripts Documenting and testing release management documentation Support technical writing activities Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC) Ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or technical equivalent Nice to Have: Release Management experience Support technical writing activities Update 4+1 and other architecture documents Experience supporting Federal Govt. (US Department of Veterans Affairs specifically would be a plus).
