| Direct client position Position: Business Solution Analyst Duration: 6 Years with 2 years of possible extension Location: CA(Remote) Client: State of California Department: California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (Candidate Must have State client Experience Job Description: The roles and responsibilities of the Business Solution Analyst include, but are not limited to: Candidate must have State client experience Write complex queries to extract data from the BITS/BDMS database and create test data for functional testing. Write test plans and test cases for software releases. Create automated testing scripts to help prevent regression defects from occurring. Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement. Work with customers to provide support on the BITS software processes. Work with customers to provide support on the BITS/BDMS software processes. Create reports in SSRS, Oracle Reports, and Tableau . Participate in JAD sessions for new features and document requirements and user stories. Identify areas for improvement and work with Product Owner and the CDCR/BPH to prioritize new development. Participate in Agile Scrum teams .
