LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY This position is responsible for enhancing, modifying, and troubleshooting existing pension processes while developing new, accurate, secure, and compliant systems for pension calculations and estimates. Key duties include implementing and supporting customizations to ensure compliance with pension legislation, regulatory requirements, and collective bargaining agreements, as well as ensuring the protection of sensitive data through appropriate security technologies. Additionally, the role involves migrating legacy data into a highly customized PeopleSoft Pension Administration system, optimizing efficiency through centralized administration. The configuration of pension rules, including eligibility, participation, consolidation, vesting, benefit formulas, and optional forms, is also crucial. Supporting bolt-on applications, such as pension loan administration, is part of the scope. Key qualifications include in-depth PeopleSoft HCM and pension administration expertise in pension configuration tables and calculation phases. This includes detailed work with service eligibility, benefit formulas, limits, early retirement factors, and more. Familiarity with retiree payroll, annual actuary valuation reporting, cost-of-living adjustments, and pension loan management is essential. Technical proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, App Engine, and COBOL is required to execute these responsibilities effectively.
