Role- PHP- Application Support Developer (PHP, Kohana, JQuery, Linux, Git, REST, Docker Containers and Kubernetes) Location-Austin, TX : F2F Interviews Job Type: Contract Additional Notes: Candidates should be from the Texas State Customer will conduct couple of in-person face to face interviews in AMD Austin campus Mandatory Skills: PHP, Kohana, JQuery, Linux, Git, REST, Docker Containers and Kubernetes Job Description: Extensive experience in (8+ years ) PHP development, including working with PHP frameworks like Kohana web development framework. Experience in developing web applications using RESTful APIs to communicate with external services or fetch data as a Kohana developer with RESTful APIs work and how to integrate them into other applications, should be strong in making API requests, handle responses, and work with data formats like JSON and XML. Knowledge on jQuery , proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with AJAX and JSON, understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, and familiarity with front-end build tools are also important. Strong knowledge of database systems and query optimization. Advanced knowledge of PHP performance-tuning techniques. Knowledge of Git workflows. At least 3-5+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and Docker, Expertise in Linux. Maintenance of Docker/Container Clusters. Experience with DevOps practices and tools for deployment.
