| From: Aniket Dhakar, Technocraft Solutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: BI Publisher Location: Westlake, TX The Role The BI Engineer assembles business requirements and designs/develops/implements solutions to address complex business needs for the Fidelity Data Architecture Business Unit. This person will build dashboards/reports and create custom business applications (Power Apps) from source data, including requirements capturing, data identification and structure, extracting the data and crafting dashboards, scorecards, and reports. This role encapsulates all tasks needed to translate business requirements into a technical solution. You should be analytical, highly inquisitive, and have the ability to extract meaningful information from the data. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Collaborative Mindset & Experience in working on Agile teams. Expertise in building and integrating custom applications (Power Apps) with Power BI. Expert knowledge of PowerBI & building complex DAX Functions. Capable of visualizing information thats intuitive and enables insights. Demonstrated ability working in Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, DOMO is an advantage). Good understanding of SDLC and the various stages in the software lifecycle. Experience working with Data Warehousing, dimensional data modeling & relational database concepts. Proficient in writing back to the file/database using Power Apps. Good understanding of data modeling techniques and able to model relationships between different objects. Build visually appealing dashboards following the best coding practices, solve user requirements on reporting. Experience in creating custom applications and canvas reports using Power Apps and automating manual processes with Power Automate. Proficient in designing, developing, and implementing automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes. Ability to integrate Power Automate with various data sources and services, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other third-party applications. Experience in creating and managing complex workflows, including approval processes, notifications, and data synchronization. Should be comfortable in writing complex SQL queries to perform analysis for any data issues. Knowledge of Cloud and Big Data Concepts and tools AWS, Data Lake, Snowflake, etc. Strong analytical, technical skills to be able to address complicated business challenges. Implementing standard methodology acquired through prior experience for any process improvement. Experience in working with business team members in discussing and capturing requirements, conducting product demos, and collaborating with larger teams on delivering quality products. Must maintain flawless communication and coordination with Partners, Business Analysts, developers, and peers for completion of various testing work youre doing. High level of commitment, initiative, vision, and passion. The Value You Deliver Configure, develop, and debug reports in Power BI and analyze data. Build, update, and maintain technical documentation. Interact effectively with business partners to understand business requirements and assist in the creation of technical requirements.
