Job Role : Software Integration/Embedded Engineer Location : Austin Texas -Onsite Visa: Any Visa Duration : 6-month contracts Pay Rate : $50-$55/hr. on C2C Job Description Integration Engineer for Sensors (Camera and Lidar) Day to Day: 50% software /sensor integration 50% test and validation/HIL Everything attached to the HIL systems and Benches, sensors, bring up of the benches, work through the sensor integration and understand why its not working and pull in remote teams. Sensor development is done in other teams (cameras and Lidar are sealed calibrated, etc) just need to be integrated and deployed. Components are selected and purchased from OEM sand integrated on benches. Systems level HIL testing Onsite debugging to understand the code team is remote in Denmark. Constant onsite support available for HIL truck test bench. For 6 months starting immediately Developing sensor components and pulling data from sensors. HIL build ups and truck build ups. Issue resolution for sensor components. Get the HIL on one end and trucks up and running, Camera and Lidar sensors scoped and they need someone to do component level testing and HIL setup Data collection, working with team members to work through the data and provide it to the right teams to update the sensor software on the truck Must Haves: Hands on experience in troubleshooting environment 2+ years of Integration and troubleshooting C++ code sensor driver integration Linux ROS (plus) Python is beneficial. (plus) Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins (plus) Lidar sensor for firmware updates on sensor Camera- executing the camera driver data review and debugging failures GPS GNSS sensors (would also be helpful) Radar sensors Trust is Contagious!!
