Role: HCL Role - IT SECURITY PRINCIPAL ENGINEER :- Location: Secaucus, NJ(Hybrid) Responsibilities: Develop and implement security strategies to enhance IT security posture. Install, upgrade, and maintain security tools (network/application scanners, intrusion detection, DLP, SIEM, etc.). Review and update IT security standards, policies, and procedures as needed. Collaborate with IT leadership to enforce security requirements and address risks. Provide technical guidance and serve as a subject matter expert for IT security. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security products, tools, regulations, and best practices. Report security risks, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance to IT management. Participate in application development and M&A projects, ensuring security controls are implemented. Collaborate on IT projects to address security throughout the project life cycle. Support SLAs related to security controls and ensure compliance with security policies. Research and recommend IT security hardware and software solutions. Manage relationships with IT security vendors and oversee the implementation of security tools. Provide technical expertise and guidance in security architecture and engineering. Act as a security representative to senior IT management and customers.
