This role is more than just coding. We need a database developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Required skills: 8+ years experience in an information technology role 3+ years designing, developing, and releasing Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures 3+ years unit testing of application and stored procedure code 3+ years' experience using Java and Java frameworks (Spring) 3+ years developing, modifying, and maintaining client/server application Develop/implement regression testing scripts Documenting and testing release management documentation Support technical writing activities Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC) Ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or technical equivalent Nice to Have: Release Management experience Support technical writing activities Update 4+1 and other architecture documents Experience supporting Federal Govt. (US Department of Veterans Affairs specifically would be a plus).
