Job Title: Power Automate Developer (on W2)

Location: Charlotte, NC, Hartford, CT, or Branchville, NJ (Hybrid 3 days in office)

Duration: 6-month Contract to Hire (CTH)

Position Overview

Selective Insurance is seeking a talented Power Automate Developer to design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation, process improvement, and experience with various Microsoft 365 applications. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance productivity through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development: Create automated workflows in Microsoft Power Automate to optimize and streamline business processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand automation needs.

Integration: Integrate Power Automate with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Custom Connectors: Develop custom connectors and actions to extend the functionality of Power Automate.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Power Automate workflows efficiently.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, processes, and solutions for reference and training.

User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing automated workflows effectively.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience as a Power Automate Developer or in a similar role.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 applications.

Process Automation: Demonstrated experience in workflow design, business process improvement, and automation.

Custom Development: Proficiency in creating custom connectors and actions within Power Automate.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to Have Qualifications

Experience with other automation tools such as UiPath or Work Fusion.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Relevant certifications in Power Automate.

Education

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
