| Hello, Greetings from Encore Consulting Services, Inc Job Title: Sr. Golang Developer Location: Remote (Washington) Experience: 12+ Years Job Description: As a Senior Golang Developer, you will actively participate in the full agile software development lifecycle, engaging in design, estimation, development, and troubleshooting of complex cloud-based applications. You'll contribute to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while guiding the team on best practices and coding standards.Key Responsibilities: Participate in agile software development, decomposing requirements, and implementing solutions. Design and develop multi-layered, SOA structured cloud applications using Go (Golang). Collaborate in pair programming, rapid prototyping, and ensuring code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, improving system performance. Contribute to internal knowledge resources like wikis, helping improve the customer experience. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills. Ensure compliance with coding standards, conduct code reviews, and participate in technical discussions. Prepare status reports to identify and mitigate project risks.Required Skills: Expertise in Golang and developing web applications. Proficiency with object-oriented programming languages like Ruby, Python, PHP, or Java. Strong experience working in Linux environments. Hands-on experience with containers (e.g., Docker) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon EC2/S3 or similar services). Excellent communication skills for working across multiple teams.Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based solutions and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud infrastructure.Additional Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance and ensure the team follows best practices. Enhance team productivity by sharing expertise and mentoring junior developers. Prepare and present status updates, mitigating risks, and addressing escalations.
