Position: Sr. Data Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: * Strong communication * On Prem ETL/ELT experience (preferably Informatica) * ADF * Databricks * Python/Pyspark Preferred: * MDM (Reltio is a ++) * Data Management team (EDW or mdm) * CICI * Azure Configuration - Three different roles always looking at- 2 titled Data Engineer o Data Engineer with focus on Data Analysis * Stat analysis o Traditional DE * Experience with getting data from point A to B * Data integration experience * Data Modeling, Data Bricks, Data Factory * Understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) * ETL Concepts o Getting away from Informatica- a year from now won't have this anymore, still have some informatica in place but additional work won't be here. * More interested in having the background in the ability to enable the Data Analysis- Delta, slowly changing data structures * SQL * Not as robust as the Analyst position * MUST have Azure experience * Data Management team- not Software Development team * Experience with MDM and Realtio are HUGE pluses * If they don't have MDM- then must have EDW experience with Azure * Most of the work they do enables Data Analysis * Pyspark is a nice to have * Want them focused on getting all of the data into one place and transforming away from Informatica (On Prem) moving to Azure instead, which is why Azure is going to be important * Also experience with DevOps- understanding of what DevOps is- conceptual understanding of what it is, how they get there and what would be used within Azure to get them there Keywords: information technology |
