Position Overview

The Senior Oracle Functional Consultant Supply Chain Applications will serve as a strategic interface between the business and IT, driving the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications. This role involves functional analysis, solution design, and the creation of extensions when core configurations are insufficient. The consultant will collaborate with application analysts, other verticals, and consultants on EBA implementation projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis Management:

Oversee business analysis processes including requirements gathering, documentation, and scope definition with non-technical business users.

Requirements Documentation:

Communicate the vision for the system by documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements, refining them into actionable technical items.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with business users across multiple units to articulate business goals and processes for effective technology solutions.

Clarification Support:

Engage business users to provide necessary clarifications for the Project Team, Development Team, and Production Support Team to ensure effective solution design and implementation.

Feasibility Verification:

Assess the feasibility of business user requests based on existing technical systems and data structures.

Artifact Creation:

Develop and present key requirements artifacts such as:

Scope Documents

Use Cases

Functional Designs and Configurations

Detailed Specifications of Key Business Rules

Activity Diagrams

Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation

Application Gap Analysis

Data Analysis:

Demonstrate expertise in querying and analyzing application data schema.

Project Leadership:

Provide business and technical leadership, ensuring project progress aligns with timelines and identifying risks and issues related to IT solutions.

Timely Completion:

Complete assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner, coordinating tasks of internal and external resources as needed.

Confidentiality Assurance:

Ensure the security of confidential and proprietary information.

Team Leadership:

May lead technical/functional teams or projects as necessary.

Innovation and Problem Solving:

Solve complex problems with a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions and develop new concepts and techniques.

Strategic Implementation:

Research and implement technological strategic solutions to enhance business operations.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree in Information and Communication Technology or a related field.

Experience:

8-10 years as an Oracle Applications Consultant or System Analyst.

Expertise:

Expert knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP Application functionality.

Proficient in Oracle Fusion Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Management, and Inventory Management module configurations.

Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with SQL-based queries and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Deep functional understanding of Oracle modules and development frameworks for extensions in Oracle Cloud.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Language Skills:

Advanced proficiency in English.

Implementation Experience:

Experience with 2-3 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement applications.

Business Acumen:

Strong combination of business acumen and deep IT knowledge.

Project Management:

Proven record in strategic project planning and client management, capable of managing multiple high-priority projects with competing deadlines.

Team Management:

Experience in managing teams effectively.
