| Job Title: Application Programmer SAP-ABAP Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid 50% Onsite) Duration: Long Term Interview: Phone/Video Rate: $60/hr on C2C Visa: No H1B/CPT/OPT Additional Information: Ideal candidate is someone with experience within the government agencies within the State of Louisiana. Project Scope: The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third-party software, and custom applications. OTS leads the States technology procurement process to standardize technology over the entire organization and seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies. The State seeks resources to provide maintenance and operational support for its SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Roles/Responsibilities: Design, code and test solutions using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Individually meet with users to determine needs; write program and/or system specifications and guidelines for moderate size systems; Provide technical assistance to less experienced or less knowledgeable employees; serve as liaison between programmers and other supervisory personnel; Design, code, compile, test, debug, modify and document new or existing applications programs within accepted standards, procedures and guidelines; Demonstrate advanced knowledge/use of JCL (or other control languages) and system utilities in the applications environment; Identify, research and resolve program, machine, data, or system software problems, frequently on an individual basis in consultation with other employees and/or users; Review the work of programmers for assigned systems responsibility to ensure data integrity and availability; Assist in the evaluation of user requests for changes to determine specific tasks and effects on existing programs and systems; discusses and explains program and system modifications to users and writes user guides and other documentation; Analyze changes, enhancements, and/or systems designs to ensure data integrity and availability. Mandatory Skills: Five (5) plus years of experience and/or relevant experience in the following areas: SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Web Dynpro for ABAP Desirable Skills: SAP Web IDE SAP Fiori SAP UI5 JAVA/JavaScript SAP Adobe Lifecycle Designer SAP Workflow Other Requirements: At least Three (3) client references from the past ten (10) years with the following details.
