Position: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Data Engineer Location: Remote Duration : Long Term Contract Visa : USC or GC Preferred REMEMBER, this is NOT a normal DATA ENGINEER JOB. We need candidates focused on cloud infrastructure who have significant hands-on experience in the languages and tools outlined in the description. This is a cloud infrastructure-heavy position. We need candidates whose primary focus is deploying and configuring data infrastructure as laid out in our JD. Read the answers the candidates give you for the questions below. Docker & Kubernetes: All software is in Docker containers that would need to incorporate with the data mesh. So they have to understand how dockers works to be able to make sure it incorporates with the infrastructure This is the Data Engineer requirement you have already received. The candidates have been largely data pipeline developers/operators, not data infrastructure engineers. This is a cloud infrastructure-heavy position. Client is not looking for folks who build data or ML processing pipeline code, ETL jobs, or do data analytics.
