Their responsibilities include: Software administration: Configuring, updating, patching, and hot fixing SAS software Platform security: Designing, implementing, and maintaining the platforms security Capacity planning: Providing capacity planning, metrics, and performance tuning recommendations for the SAS platform Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting issues and monitoring system performance User support: Working with SAS users to manage their access, understand their needs, and find solutions to problems Code writing: Writing and testing code based on the desired configuration for a project System update: Updating existing systems Server environment: Maintaining the SAS server environment, including installing, setting up, configuring, migrating, and maintaining servers Help desk support: Providing technical and help-desk support SAS user community: Overseeing a SAS user community Thanks, Sridar Guvvala iTech US, Inc.
