Azure Data Factory Azure Cosmos DB or SQL Database: For storing structured health data in a scalable and secure manner. Azure Cloud Expertise: Understanding of Azure services, especially Azure API for FHIR, Azure functions Azure Active Directory (for access control), and Azure Storage solutions. FHIR Standard Knowledge: Familiarity with the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard, including data formats (JSON/XML), resource types, and profiles Interoperability Standards: Experience with integrating FHIR data with other healthcare systems, such as EHRs, or CCDs/ HL7 standards, and leveraging Azure Heath Services APIs Data Migration and Integration: Skills in migrating or synchronizing healthcare data between Azure FHIR server and other cloud DB( Relational and Non Relational . OAuth 2.0 and API Security: Experience with authentication and authorization methods, including OAuth 2.0 and other security protocols for healthcare APIs. Networking and Integration: Experience with networking concepts, such as virtual networks, subnets, , Azure Key Vault, Azure identity, VPNs, and firewall rules for securing API connections between Azure and Google services. Terraform Deployment (IaC) . DevOps and Automation Required Skills: Extensive experience in the Application Architecture for Healthcare domain applications Expertise in FHIR, HL7, and CCDA standards for healthcare data interoperability. Excellent understanding of FHIR resources, profiles and implementation guides Strong hands-on programming skills in .NET, C#, Node JS, and Python. Expertise with Azure FHIR APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps. Familiarity with Azure services including API Management (APIM), Azure Storage, and Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of Azure Key Vault for secure key management. Understanding of Azure networking concepts and network security groups. Familiarity with Azure identity and access management (IAM) concepts, including Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Azure AD Connect. 5-7 years of experience in a similar role and level, demonstrating proficiency in FHIR standards, Azure services, and infrastructure management. Responsibilities: Design and implement FHIR-based solutions for exposing the Patient clinical and claims data through FHIR apis Design and implement solution to ingest data from external and internal systems into the FHIR repository Work with client to define optimal architecture of the FHIR data infrastructure Stay up to date with CMS mandates and advancements in the FHIR domain to offer effective solutions to the client Lead the development and deployment of FHIR APIs using Azure services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EMR systems with Azure services. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in healthcare data exchange. Optimize performance and scalability of FHIR-based applications on Azure. Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions for Azure infrastructure. Provide guidance on Azure networking configurations and security best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
