| Email from Technix LLC Direct client position Position: Sr.QA Engineer Duration: 10 Months Location: Texas (100% Remote) Agency: Texas Health and Human Services Commission Client: State of Texas Job ID: 529501181R (Local to Texas Candidates Only) DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES : Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 5 QA Engineer Automated 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA Engineer Automated 3, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes. As part of HHSC IT Applications Social Services Applications initiatives, the worker will perform the following activities to accomplish the following goals: Performs software quality assurance, testing, and support for TIERS, YourTexasBenefits.com, Your Texas Benefits Mobile App, State Portal, Workflow Management, Eligibility Web Services, Enterprise Document Services, Enterprise Content Management, Document Center, Call Center Inquiry, and other Social Services applications. Develop, enhance, maintain, and execute existing and new test plans and scenarios for performing software quality assurance of the various web-based J2EE/Portal applications within HHSCs SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) platform using Agile methodologies. As a member of the team, participate in requirements analysis, test design, test data preparation, and testing of various application components, as required. Work with other teams as necessary to accomplish goals. Create technical and design documentation, as required. Employ contemporary testing methods to ensure applications function properly and without error. Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts. Participate in program design, coding and test walk-through meetings to provide input regarding technical standards and customer requirements. Other duties as assigned. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS : Required 8 years experience/knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of software development and the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including knowledge of industry accepted software engineering practices and life cycle methods (Agile). Required 8 years experience Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems, information technology equipment, applicable programming languages, computer hardware and software, and computer operating systems. Required 8 years Experience in analyzing requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and write test plans and test scenarios to validate that the requirements are met within the application and/or business processes. Required 8 years experience Skill analyzing software applications, defects, and business problems to draw evidence-based conclusions and devise innovative solutions Preferred 3 years experience Skill using HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Katalon, HP LoadRunner, SoapUI, LoadUI, Selenium HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), HP Product Portfolio Management (PPM), SQL, XML , and running and creating interface files and running batch .
