| Job Title: DevOps Engineer with AWS Rate: 50/hr on c2c Location: Detroit, Michigan Type: On-site (hybrid) Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. This is an on-site position, and the candidate must be willing to work in our Detroit office. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS. Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Develop automation scripts and tools to improve deployment and operational efficiency. Monitor and maintain system health, performance, and security in AWS environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and application performance. Implement CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid deployment and testing of applications. Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for cloud deployment. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps and cloud computing. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices. Additional Information: This position requires on-site presence in Detroit, Michigan.
