| From: Shane, Abdisolutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description Position Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer Location: Lawrenceville, GA (On-site) Local Candidates preffered Contract Duration: 12+ Months Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Lawrenceville, GA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development, particularly in SAP ECC environments. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing existing development objects, as well as creating new ones. Your role will also involve performance tuning, troubleshooting, debugging, and working closely with functional teams and business process experts to meet the client's business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) in SAP ECC landscapes. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code to ensure smooth system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement ABAP solutions. Apply SAP ABAP development skills across ECC modules, such as HCM, MM, and FI. Support pack upgrades and enhancements, ensuring system integrity. Provide technical leadership in data modeling, database concepts, and SAP data dictionary objects. Work with integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, ALE) for seamless ECC module functionality. Administer and maintain SAP databases and associated tables. Prepare comprehensive documentation for new systems and modifications in line with company standards. Required Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of SAP ABAP development experience with a focus on SAP ECC. Strong proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP development tools. Experience designing and developing RICEF objects in ECC environments. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP ECC. Knowledge of SAP development methodologies and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 3-7 years of SAP ABAP development experience specifically within SAP ECC environments. Expertise in ECC modules such as HCM (HR), MM (Materials Management), and FI (Financial Accounting). Hands-on experience with integration technologies like IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and ALE. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve system issues.
