| Role CAPPS PeopleSoft specialist Location: Austin, Texas. Onsite Visa - USC/GC Interviews by phone and Skype. We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft specialist with a strong focus on CAPPS (Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System) implementation and support to work on-site with our Austin, Texas client initially, and then 1 day/month long term. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain, HCM, and ELM applications, with particular emphasis on CAPPS modules. Required Qualifications: Extensive experience in implementing PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain, HCM, and ELM applications Strong knowledge of CAPPS modules and their integration Proven experience in PeopleSoft upgrades, particularly versions 8.8 through 9.2 Expertise in PeopleSoft technical tools and development methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in SQR, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Integration Broker Experience with BI Publisher and nVision reporting Familiarity with XML, XSL, REST, and SOAP for integration purposes Knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning Experience in developing conversion programs and interfaces Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with government agencies or public sector organizations Familiarity with Texas state government systems and processes Previous experience with CAPPS implementations or support Knowledge of PeopleSoft security and workflow configurations This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation, integration, and ongoing support of CAPPS within our organization.
