The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience leading development teams, writing clean and scalable code from scratch, and managing the delivery of complex software projects. Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement high-quality Java code, with a focus on API development and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Lead the team by managing the development process (40% development, 60% team management), ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Write efficient and maintainable code from scratch, following best practices for code structure and performance optimization. Use manual GIT commands for version control, ensuring effective collaboration across development teams. Leverage expertise in Cloud platforms and OpenShift for building scalable and resilient applications. Contribute to the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, ensuring they are robust and meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Spring Framework in development. Conduct thorough code reviews, perform code refactoring, and drive best practices in software development. Optimize processes through automation, leveraging tools like Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor application performance. Work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions in an Agile development environment. Address issues related to system architecture, scalability, and performance tuning. Mandatory Qualifications : Strong development experience in Java, with a focus on building APIs and microservices. Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Proven experience with manual GIT commands for version control. Solid understanding of Spring Framework and its ecosystem. Experience with Cloud technologies, with a focus on building scalable, cloud-native applications. Previous leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor teams while delivering high-quality code. Preferred Qualifications : Hands-on experience with Kafka or any other streaming technology. Familiarity with Splunk and Dynatrace tools for monitoring and performance management. Experience working in an Agile development lifecycle and adhering to Agile principles. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of architecture and design principles across system components. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A proactive and delivery-focused approach to work, with the ability to drive projects forward independently.
