From: Shikha, KPG99 [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Senior Application Support Engineer Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday Years of Experience: 10-14 years in Application Support Location: Near MetroPark train station in Iselin, NJ Job Description: The Senior Application Support Engineer will provide L1/L2 support coverage, addressing user inquiries and resolving production incidents for various applications under the Market Operations Support group. This role requires expertise in SQL, ETL, Linux, Windows environments, and a strong understanding of user access and audit reviews. The engineer will collaborate with vendors and business users, troubleshooting application issues, managing incidents, and running reports by querying databases. Experience in settlement, collateral, regulatory reporting (FI/EQ), and derivatives products is essential. Familiarity with supporting applications like Murex, Smart Loan, Loanet, or Broadridge is a huge plus. Key Responsibilities: Provide L1/L2 support, resolving user inquiries and handling production incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Tidal job failures and production incidents. Collaborate with vendors to support various applications in the market operations space. Support disaster recovery (DR) flips and coordinate efforts across teams. Work with business users to run reports and query databases for data reviews. Document and maintain support knowledge in Confluence. Assist in user access reviews, audit reviews, and IDM (Identity Management) reviews. Support applications involved in settlement, collateral, and regulatory reporting, as well as derivatives products. Multitask and manage several ongoing issues simultaneously. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, ETL, Linux, and Windows environments. Experience with user access, audit, and IDM reviews. Familiarity with application support tools and processes (Tidal, Murex, Smartloan, Loanet, Broadridge). Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and multitasking abilities. Experience with financial products and applications related to market operations, settlement, and regulatory reporting. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
