The Architect will be responsible for designing and deploying SAM and WPM across 100 servers and 6applications, ensuring a robust and scalable monitoring frame work that meets the organization's performance and availability requirements. Key responsibilities Architecture Design and Planning: o Lead the architectural design for implementing SolarWinds SAM and WPM. o Develop a detailed monitoring strategy tailored to the organizations infrastructure, covering all servers, applications ,and associated processes. o Ensure that the architecture is scalable and optimized for performance. Implementation Oversight: o Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of SolarWinds SAM across 100 servers. o Evaluate and implement SolarWinds WPM to monitor web applications, including setting up synthetic transactions and performance metrics. o Ensure the successful deployment of Orion Agents across the server environment. o Configure and fine-tune monitoring templates for each application and associated processes. Technical Leadership: o Provide hands-on technical leadership during the implementation phase. o Ensure that best practices are followed during the configuration and deployment of SAM and WPM. o Address and resolve any technical challenges that arise during the implementation process. o Customize monitoring templates, dashboards, and reports according to the organizations needs. Scripting and Automation: o Develop and implement scripts for SolarWinds WPM to simulate user interactions with web applications. o Create and manage scripts for synthetic transactions, ensuring Page 2 of 2they accurately reflect user behavior and application workflows. o Use scripting to automate repetitive tasks within the monitoring environment, improving efficiency and accuracy. Testing and Validation: o Lead the testing and validation of the SolarWinds implementation to ensure accurate data collection, alerting, and reporting. o Perform load and performance testing to confirm that the system can handle the anticipated workload. o Work with stakeholders to validate that the implementation meets all functional requirements. Documentation and Training: o Develop comprehensive documentation of the implemented monitoring architecture, configurations, and processes. o Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to the IT team, ensuring they are equipped to manage the SolarWinds environment post-implementation. Desirable Skills: o 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and management. o Proven experience in implementing SolarWinds SAM and WPM in large-scale environments. o Strong background in configuring and optimizing monitoring solutions for server and application performance. Technical Skills: o Expertise in SolarWinds SAM and WPM, including deployment,configuration, and customization. o Experience with Orion Agents deployment and management.o Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python,or JavaScript for automating WPM transactions and other monitoring tasks. o Deep understanding of server and application performance metrics, as well as web application monitoring.o Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related tomonitoring setup. Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. o Excellent communication and documentation skills.o Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and stakeholders.
