The engineer will collaborate with a group of talented architects and engineers to develop full stack solutions that will service global cross functional teams across the clients enterprise. Serverless cloud platforms are growing and maturing at a rapid rate, and the engineer should have a pulse on the new associated AWS services proactively designing and building high available and resilient services, and\\or multi region architectures utilizing emerging technology and custom development to promote business need and speed. Clients adoption of serverless is also growing, and we are looking for an experienced passionate engineer to help mature and grow the usage of the platform. What will you do Work with architects and other IT and business groups to identify technical and functional needs of applications based on priority Design, build serverless solutions for cross-functional, multi-platform internal and client facing applications Ability to decipher complex, ambiguous customer needs and translate into optimal feature delivery Writing great quality code with a drive for automated testing and validation Thinks in terms of architecture as well as code. Able to develop and evaluate solutions for strengths and weaknesses (e.g., complexity, quality, scalability, latency, security, performance, data integrity, etc.) which are key for an enterprise engineer Experience working with AWS technologies (Lambda, S3, Glue, Kinesis, DDB, RDS, Step functions, SQS\\SNS, AppSync) Understands software engineering best practices (e.g. CI\\CD automated pipelines, Operational Excellence, Information Security IAM) Experience with deployments and DevOps Experience with application integration via APIs/REST, API Gateways Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers on best practices Skills Experience with UI/UX and AWS cloud development : TypeScript/JavaScript/NodeJS/Java/ Python/CloudFormation/AWS SDK Managing AWS infrastructure using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform Lambda, Glue ETL, S3, EC2, IAM, and Secrets Manager DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle Atlassian Bamboo, Github Actions, Git Bash/zsh, SQL Pytest, setuptools, Behave, Selenium Experience or exposure in build and CI\\CD technologies: GitHub, BitBucket, DevOps, Nexus or Sonar Exposure to Agile development concepts Experience with cloud technologies and security: AWS, IAM, Okta OIDC, Auth0, API Gateways (Kong, CA API Gateway, AWS API Gateway) Bonus if exposure to, Containers and orchestration: Docker, Fargate, Kubernetes, etc. Hands on building multi region architectures Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment user interface user experience sthree information technology |
