Sr. Data Warehouse Architect Consultant to create a data warehouse, qualify the environment, and develop new processes. The project will go for 3-6 months and can be completed while working remotely, but the consultant must be available to support West Coast working hours. The start date is ASAP. This consultant will be relied upon as a Snowflake systems SME to develop the warehouse. Top Requirements: BS degree minimum required Must be an expert in developing data warehouses using Snowflake Must be proficient coding in SQL ang Python Must be proficient reading R coding Must be an expert in technical writing and very diligent in documenting everything in a regulated environment (experience from biotech or pharma industries is preferred) Only USC or GC Full Project Scope This consultant will design architecture, organize, and enable delivery of commercial, research, and clinical research data from diverse data sources using Snowflake with SQL and Python scripting on Azure. This position will work collaboratively with quality assurance, bioinformatics, clinicians, researchers, and business leaders to create a data warehouse so that all data recipients have a single source of truth and data deliverables are consistent across the business. This position will be responsible for leveraging cloud architecture (Azure), managing integrations, designing processes for data aggregation and access management that comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and best practices for compliance in a highly regulated environment with strict requirements for blind management, confidentiality, and applicable privacy regulations. The consultant will also mentor and guide others on the team. The consultant is expected to technically lead projects and efforts; provide strategic and tactical input to management; translate incoming business requirements into technical architectural solutions, as well as help define the short-term and long-term roadmap of the enterprise Data Warehouse Architecture. Data integration & engineering using modern enterprise development toolsets Responsible for cloud data integration architecture, security, development, testing, data quality, and on-going auditing, including integration with Okta, LSAF, and Tableau Serve as an expert resource and consultant for all areas of cloud data integration with regard to data collection, standards, management, governance, retrieval, and use as well as design and use of data elements and tools. Provide data modeling and architecture expertise for complex projects. Collaborate with quality assurance, IT, biostatisticians, data scientists, researchers, clinicians, and business leaders to understand requirements and translate into functional specifications. Design data marts and develop scheduled and ad-hoc parameterized queries and reports from a variety of data sources and provides on-going analytical support for these requests Convert existing reporting tools to a standardized reporting infrastructure Accurately scope, define and estimate work effort and resource plan for assigned projects Determine testing needed to assure the accuracy of information being delivered by creating test plans and evaluate testing results Identify data quality issues and support the data governance initiative Forecast and analyze data and trends to create reports that highlight areas needing improvement Leverage cloud technologies (Azure), Snowflake SQL and/or Python, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise modeling tools Location: US work from anywhere Remote Ayush Kumar | IstaffX LLC.
