Title: Senior Power BI Developer Work location: Brentwood, Tennessee(Onsite 2-3 days in a week) Type: 6 months CTH Experience -- 10 to 12 Yrs Key Responsibilities of a Power BI Techno - Manager / Consultant 1.Requirement Gathering and Stakeholder Collaboration** - Understand Business Needs**: Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and decision-makers to gather and understand business requirements for reporting and analytics. - Define BI Roadmap**: Translate business requirements into a roadmap for Power BI solutions, including defining KPIs, metrics, and the overall structure of reports and dashboards. 2.Solution Design and Architecture** - Develop Data Architecture**: Design the architecture for Power BI solutions that integrate with existing data systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. - Data Modeling**: Create and implement efficient data models that support reporting and analytics. This includes organizing datasets, creating relationships, and optimizing data flows. - Integration with Data Sources**: Architect seamless integration with various data sources, including databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.), cloud data warehouses (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse), and third-party systems like CRM or ERP. 3.Report and Dashboard Development** - Create Dashboards**: Develop visually appealing and interactive Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights to business users. - Visualization Best Practices**: Follow best practices for data visualization to ensure reports are intuitive, informative, and aligned with business needs. 4.Performance Optimization** - Optimize Data Models**: Refine and optimize Power BI data models for performance and efficiency, including the use of aggregations, query optimization, and DAX formula tuning.. 5. Automation and Dataflows**. - Data Pipelines**: Design and automate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for moving data from source systems into Power BI using Power Query, Azure Data Factory, or other ETL tools. 6. Skills and Qualifications: 1. **Power BI Expertise**: Strong expertise in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). 2. **Data Modeling and Warehousing**: In-depth understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, star and snowflake schemas, and enterprise data warehousing. 3. **ETL and Data Integration**: Experience with ETL processes and tools like Azure Data Factory, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Power Query for transforming and loading data into Power BI. 4.
