Job Title: IT Helpdesk Associate

Location: Madison, new York

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Associate to join our team! As the first point of contact for our internal and external clients, VIPs, and users, you will provide exceptional technical support across various communication channels. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining a positive user experience.Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and efficient technical support to clients, users, and VIPs via phone, email, chat, and in-person assistance.
Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, VC devices, and user accounts.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to common software applications such as Microsoft Office, M365/O365, MS Teams, and Adobe Suite.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, user account management, and video conferencing.
Install and configure basic IT equipment and software as needed.
Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets.
Log all service requests in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system and ensure timely resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Document solutions and procedures to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with the latest technologies.Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in a technical support role or a related field. (Adjust experience level based on position seniority.)
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
