| C2C Role | ION Developer Job Title: ION Developer Location: Multiple locations (London, Krakow, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) Client: UBS (End Client) Type: C2H (Contract to Hire) Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days per week from the office) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ION Developer to support the customization and development of ION Trading platforms for our end-client UBS, a leading global financial institution. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a fast-paced, trading environment, developing, customizing, and optimizing ION Trading systems. Key Responsibilities: Development and Customization: Customize and enhance the ION platform to meet the trading and settlement needs of UBS. ION Platform Management: Maintain, troubleshoot, and update ION environments across various locations. Integration: Develop and maintain integrations with external trading systems, exchanges, and internal banking systems. Automation: Implement and manage automation processes for trading workflows. Collaboration: Work closely with traders, operations, and risk management teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for ION platform issues, performance tuning, and general system maintenance. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and process automation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial trading platforms with a strong focus on ION Trading platform development. Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or SQL. Experience with ION MarketView, ION Risk, and IONs other product suites. Knowledge of trading workflows, market risk, and order execution. Experience with system integration and understanding of FIX protocols. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments. Financial Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fixed income trading, equities, or derivatives. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle complex systems in high-pressure environments. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with traders, stakeholders, and the technical team effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in investment banking or financial services, particularly with UBS or similar institutions. Certifications in finance or IT infrastructure, such as CFA, ION certifications, or equivalent.
