Role: Technical Project Manager Location: MD ( Day 1 onsite) Duration: Long term Must be Local to MD,VA or DC In Person Interview Duties/Responsibilities : Candidates should be able to design, develop and implement complex solutions based on Java technology and related frameworks. Candidates should be able to lead a team of developers in code reviews, advising team members of the design approach and implementation. Candidates should be able to assist in API implementation, and performance optimization. Candidates should be able to assist in the system integration of components. Provides design recommendations and develops enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including interfaces, functions and features. Determines specifications, then plans, designs, and develops the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes either individually or in concert with a project team. Candidates should be to translate application requirements into web-based solutions using the recommended frameworks and technology. Candidates should be able to design and implement responsive web application user interfaces using JavaScript/CSS/HTML5/JQuery . Education : A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related technical discipline is required. A Master's Degree is preferred. Minimum Qualifications : A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related technical discipline. Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in managing technical projects. Experience with [specific technologies or methodologies relevant to the role] is preferred. Strong understanding of relevant technologies, software development practices, and IT infrastructure. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are advantageous. Proficiency of scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON and other front-end scripting languages. Knowledge in application servers such as JBOSS/Tomcat.
