Please find the below Job description and send the suitable resume to [email protected] Role: Operations lead - GCP Cloud & Data Observations Location: Alpharetta, GA (DAY 1 ON-SITE) Locals Only Duration : Long Term Contract Experience : 12+years Required Skills : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in cloud operations or DevOps, with a focus on GCP. Proven expertise in data observability tools and techniques. Strong understanding of incident management best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience leading and mentoring technical teams. Preferred Skills : Professional certifications in GCP (e. g. Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (laC) principles and tools. Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare). Responsibilities: GCP Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee the implementation, releases and maintenance of our applications running in GCP cloud infrastructure. Stay up-to-date with GCP best practices and new features, feedback from Production Engineering back to development teams. Hands on knowledge on GKE, Big query, other google cloud services. Support a home grown GCP cloud native data observability platform. Utilize monitoring tools and techniques to track data quality, lineage, and performance. Establish alerts and thresholds to proactively identify and address data issues. Lead incident response and resolution efforts, prioritizing swift and effective communication. Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Maintain comprehensive documentation of incident response procedures. Collaborate with customer support teams to address technical issues and escalations. Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding service disruptions or incidents. Gather customer feedback to improve service quality and reliability. Lead and mentor a team of operations engineers and data analysts. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
