This role involves coordinating project activities, leading teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful SAP project delivery. The SAP Project Manager ensures that SAP solutions align with the business goals and meet client requirements, while overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Key Responsibilities: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources needed to successfully complete the project. Liaise with clients, senior management, and team members to ensure clear communication, gather requirements, and manage expectations. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (consultants, developers, business analysts) to ensure SAP project objectives are met. Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to keep projects within budget. Identify potential risks and issues in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success. Manage and communicate changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring all changes are well-documented and approved by stakeholders. Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and business requirements. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, meeting minutes, and deliverable status updates. Track and report on project milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall project status to stakeholders. Oversee the transition from project to operations, ensuring appropriate knowledge transfer, training, and post-go-live support. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. Masters degree or SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Activate) are a plus. Proven experience (10+ years) managing large-scale SAP projects, including implementations, upgrades, and migrations. Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, MM, SD, PP, etc.). PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is desirable. Proficient in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, or similar platforms. Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset with experience managing cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with SAP solution architecture and integration processes. Experience with Agile methodologies and SAP Activate methodology. Knowledge of cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform). Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
