The appropriate candidate is expected to have served in advisory capacity to play a key role in Wires Modernization efforts. The candidate is expected to possess impeccable written and verbal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Technology know-how of APIs, microservices, IBM MQ series, Oracle Database, is a must. Strong foundational knowledge of payments architecture and processing flow pertinent to Wires is non-negotiable. Familiarity with data mapping is a must. Needs to have a sound understanding of BAI2. Experience with ACI MTS compliant with ISO 20022 is a must. The candidate is expected to be in Eastern Time Zone in the US and may have to travel from time to time to various locations within the Eastern Time Zone. Additionally, it is expected for the candidate to interact with an offshore team in India. Key Responsibilities: Understand and document customer personas and their respective journeys in the current state, for all applicable use cases Understand and document the end-to-end processing flows and data lineage in the current state Understand and document the interface catalogue and API contracts as applicable Identify and document internal and external dependencies Proficient in defining data migration strategy from one platform to another Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to define target state of the modernized Wires platform Architecture Personas and respective customer journeys in accordance with applicable use cases Process and data flows Interface Catalogue Operating model Governance model E2E data lineage High-level implementation roadmap Internal and External Dependencies Must Have Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology Experience: Prior hands-on experience with ACI MTS compliant with ISO 20022 version is a must and must understand all the components within the ACI MTS architectecture Prior hands-on experience with end-to-end deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of a payment processing system Must be thorough with the payments processing architecture for CBPR+, CHIPS and FedWire Funds Must have hands-on experience with ISO 20022 standards, with CHIPS and upcoming FedWire Funds, due to go live in March 2025 Must have the ability to write SQL queries towards required data analysis Must have prior experience in advising clients on a transformation journey specific to wires modernization, including but not limited to operating model, governance model, architecture, high-level implementation roadmap Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Visio and/or lucid charts Hands-on experience in Oracle 11g and above with various database objects & replication Through knowledge of XML and XSDs is a must Thorough knowledge of ISO 20022 standards pertinent to pain, pacs, camt Strong understanding of BAI2 files Strong understanding of front-to-back reconciliation of outgoing and incoming wires Proficiency in Microsoft Project Plan Agile methodology and should be well versed with JIRA Agile to define backlog and user stories, prepare burndown charts Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to have a meaningful conversation with the client stakeholders Project Management: Experience managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and convey technical information clearly Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
