As a key member of our IT Operations team, the Dev Ops Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our Infrastructure environment in the Cloud. The Engineer will work closely with our managed service providers and internal stakeholders. Advanced Azure knowledge is essential to keeping us on the cutting edge. Job Responsibilities: Analyze infrastructure solutions and systems, including collaborating with requestors to determine infrastructure resource requirements and specifications. Identify process bottlenecks and push forward infrastructure as code automation processes wherever possible. Designs and implements source control strategies as well as build and release pipelines Ensures collaboration and acts as a liaison between the engineering and IT infrastructure teams. Maintain configuration management, software provisioning, and application deployment repositories. Ensure updates occur in system inventories, catalogs, and CMDB to reflect environment changes. Deploys and maintains infrastructure solutions such as Servers, Storage, Security Appliances, and Network Solutions. Actively manages infrastructure solutions such as performance, analyzes logs, and troubleshoots issues. Assists with identifying bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, or performance degradation. Manage infrastructure environments in accordance with company security guidelines. Investigate and resolve third-level support requests from business application owners by tracing data flows within and/or across systems. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups or auto scaling systems. Maintain operational, configuration, or other policies and procedures as instructed. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all troubleshooting procedures. Job Requirements: Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in computer science (or equivalent) Extensive experience Cloud technology such as AWS or Azure (preferred). Extensive experience in Automating Infrastructure deployments such as TerraForm and Ansible. Extensive experience in scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Bash), use of text based data files (JSON, XML, CSV) and managing assets within code repositories (Git, SVN) Experiences with diverse infrastructure solutions such as servers, serverless, VPN, VDI, backup, monitoring, load balancer, SQL platform, Redis, etc. Extensive experience with LAN, WLAN, and virtual networking. (CCNA or equivalent a plus). Extensive experience with M365, DNS, and mail flow. Extensive experience analyzing requirements and specifications for various infrastructure solutions. Experience working within an ITIL Framework. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts. Unique combination of attention to detail, excellent organization skills, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking. Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or similar.
