Job Role: Embedded Controls Engineer Location: Milwaukee, WI Pay Rate: $55/hr. on C2C Visa: Any Visa Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls engineering, with expertise in PLC programming, LabVIEW, and data acquisition systems. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing control systems to optimize operations and improve efficiency in our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes and equipment. Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for various applications. Develop and maintain LabVIEW applications for automation and data acquisition. Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Analyze and interpret data from various sensors and instrumentation to enhance process control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and user manuals. Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel on control systems. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in control technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering or a similar role. Proficiency in PLC programming Strong experience with LabVIEW programming and data acquisition systems. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus). Knowledge of control system design principles and methodologies. Experience with SCADA systems and HMI development is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
