As an Enterprise Architect II at UST you will be working with top industry clients to identify business and technical solution opportunities to enhance the growth of some of the worlds top brands. Our Architects are responsible for driving the definition and design of the enterprise architecture models, standards and policies for our clients, with a focus on application and system development technologies along with the Business/Data/Technology Architecture. This includes the design and development of the product roadmaps and the recommendation and design of IT systems for hardware, software, and network technologies. The selected associate will also need to ensure that technical reviews of all applications developed follow the defined roadmap and are effectively designed in relation to the architecture. In depth knowledge and experience in the following areas: Working and interfacing at the C-Level and or VP-Level . Excellent written and verbal communication skills Identify new transformation and solution opportunities to generate net new opportunities Define new services and offerings for UST to bring to market Comfortable presenting Technical Design, Technical Solutions, and Enterprise Architecture Solutions to clients/customers. Review and Guide Solution Architectures Choosing and applying the correct Enterprise Integration Patterns to realize the business goals Excellent knowledge of enterprise solutions and implementations and should be familiar with latest trends in Digital Transformation, Cloud Optimizations, Agile Practices, and best practices in frameworks and models. Leads cross-enterprise architectural activities to manage and simplify the IT landscape Leads governance activities associated with ensuring solution compliance confirms alignment of solutions with Enterprise Architecture principles and guidelines Defines the principles to guide solution decisions for the enterprise defines development guidelines and standards to be utilized in application development and integration Leads the implementation of solution architecture based on the organization's business requirements and IT strategies Reviews business drivers and strategies, understand the implications to applications and interfaces and identifies/mitigates risks to solutions Oversees ongoing quality activities across the enterprise champions related improvement initiatives related to design quality Consults with project teams to fit projects to enterprise architecture Directs the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends Confirms recommendations are based on business relevance, appropriate timing and deployment complexity Leads the development and feedback of a cross-domain enterprise architecture team Development of complex application architectures across platforms (such as AWS, Azure, PaaS, Windows, Unix, Linux, z/OS, iSeries). Five or more enterprise level projects where the candidate has been responsible for technical architecture (projects of 20,000 hours or more) Security and Directory services (OAuth, Active Directory, LDAP), networking technologies and protocols, systems security, systems management and monitoring Broad systems integration including ESB, BPEL, EAI, API tools Key Client Requirements: Review client business and technical architectures and make improvement recommendations in collaboration with business and technology owners Analyze current state applications technical fit, business fit, and cost factors to define and recommend application disposition status Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide updates. Review client business architecture and make improvement recommendations in collaboration with business owners Review client application architecture and make improvement recommendations in collaboration with technology owners Consult with client team to develop recommendations for future state business, application, and enterprise architecture models Analyze current state applications technical fit, business fit, and cost factors to define and recommend application disposition status Ensure that all architectural solutions align with business objectives and meet quality standards. Communicate architecture status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide updates. Provide leadership and guidance to project team members. Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus. General Requirements: Candidate should be process-minded with a strict regard to detail Familiarity and practical experience with common architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or GERAM 20+ years experience in Information Technology.
