Best regards, Larissa Listing Number: 219264 Job Title: Service Transition Project Manager Location: Mainly REMOTE EST business hours, some flex needed for connecting with the manager in Europe, but this role is for US/LATAM regions ** Client is in New Jersey, may be some onsite, but very limited. Length of Assignment: : 3 months with possible 1 month extension Background Our client is looking for a Senior level Service Transition Project Manager to ensure smooth transition of services from current vendor to new vendor. They need the PM to ensure Milestone delivery, and E2E delivery of project, in addition to ensure Best Practice methodologies and approach, strong governance, Knowledge Management and Knowledge transfer from existing vendor to incoming vendor. The PM will be assigned on a regional basis, covering Latam+ NA. The client wants full delivery of project over approximate 12 week cycle in a phased approach. The client is in the process of changing vendors for provision of support services globally. This will encompass 244 sites; Services being transitioned include: Global Service Desk Site Support Services Level 1.5 Support. The Service Transition Program manager is responsible for managing IT projects and processes. As the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of services from development to production, while ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged: Key Responsibilities Lead the transition of services from outgoing to incoming service provider Develop and implement service transition plans and strategies Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction Manage and coordinate service transition activities across multiple teams, sites and countries Identify and mitigate risks associated with service transition Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth service transition Provide guidance and support to team members Develop and implement service transition programs in alignment program goals Manage and oversee the service transition process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with service transition. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in service transition. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service transition processes, making necessary adjustments as required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of service transition programs. Required Qualifications Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in service transition or related field. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Strong project management skills. Experienced in Change Management Experienced in managing multiple vendors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with ITIL and service management best practices. Proven track record of successful service transition projects. Proven track record of successfully managing service transition programs. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices in service transition. Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with service transition. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience working with cross-functional teams.
