As the Lead Developer, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of financial services solutions using FIS technologies. You will guide a team of developers while ensuring smooth integration between core banking systems (Systematics) and APIs (Code Connect). The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial services technology, leadership experience, and expertise in API development and legacy system integration.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of APIs using FIS Code Connect and integration with FIS Systematics.Solution Architecture: Design and architect scalable, secure, and robust financial systems using FIS technologies, ensuring alignment with the business requirements.API Development and Integration: Oversee the development and implementation of RESTful APIs to integrate with Systematics core banking applications and other third-party financial platforms.FIS Systematics Expertise: Provide technical leadership in managing, customizing, and enhancing Systematics (IM, ST, RM, etc.) applications to meet business requirements.Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring tools to ensure high performance, security, and availability of the integrated systems.Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and ensure the team follows best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for both existing and newly developed systems and APIs.Training and Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring they are up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices within the FIS ecosystem.Compliance and Security: Ensure that all solutions comply with financial industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) and follow best practices in data security.Required Qualifications:FIS Code Connect Expertise: Extensive experience with FIS Code Connect for API development and integration.FIS Systematics Knowledge: Strong understanding of the FIS Systematics suite (e.g., Information Management, Savings Time, Retail Modules).Development Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or COBOL (for legacy systems).API Development: Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, along with deep knowledge of integration practices with legacy banking systems.Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2) and the ability to optimize queries for performance.Version Control: Strong experience with Git or other version control systems for managing codebases in team environments.
