About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Statistician to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in formal statistical analysis, causal modeling, and explanatory machine learning. You will be instrumental in deriving robust insights from data, moving beyond basic data exploration to apply advanced analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities: Statistical Analysis & Causal Modeling Perform formal statistical analyses to uncover meaningful patterns and relationships. Apply causal modeling techniques to identify cause-and-effect relationships within data. Design and analyze experiments to test hypotheses and validate findings. Data Manipulation & Modeling Use SQL to manipulate large datasets and build reliable data models. Ensure data integrity and optimize data retrieval processes. Programming & Visualization Utilize Python or R for advanced statistical modeling and data visualization. Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Interactive Dashboards Develop interactive visualizations and dashboards using Tableau. Present data insights in an accessible and user-friendly format for stakeholders. Communication Translate complex statistical concepts into clear, actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform decision-making processes. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau used on a weekly basis. Proven experience in probabilistic and statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference. Demonstrated ability to move beyond data exploration to derive robust, actionable insights. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and modeling. Advanced skills in Python or R for statistical analysis and visualization. Expertise in creating interactive dashboards with Tableau. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
