Emphasis of work performed shall be Azure/Office 365, Windows and Unix server administration. The work will include, but is not limited to, OS and application builds, hardening (security vulnerabilities), configurations, scripting, documentation, and troubleshooting. Work will require familiarity with RedHat Linux, IBM AIX, WebSphere, Windows AD, Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Office 365 in the government cloud environment. Contract staff will also be responsible for writing technical and user documentation. The worker should have a strong knowledge of and automating task using PowerShell scripts. The contract staff shall work on a project within a support team, participating in regular meetings, work sessions, and interactions with the business owners, technical staff, and vendors. They should be a self-starter with experience working in a virtual collaborative setting with multiple teams and tasks. The worker should possess strong written and oral presentation skills, with abilities to help present work done and prepare training when needed. This work may also include other support projects as determined by time available and remaining in contract. All project work will include change management workflows, business processes, and other requirements in support Skill Required / Desired Required Years of experience Working on Windows system administration doing OS support, patching and security vulnerability remediation. Required 8 Years Microsoft PowerShell scripting experience. Required 5 Years Troubleshooting and solving complex problems related to implementation or maintenance of system software and operating systems. Required 5 Years Testing systems and/or applications to ensure user and functional requirements are met. Required 5 Years SharePoint Online administration, configuration, and support experience. Required 5 Years Using Microsoft Teams or other collaboration tool to communicate and work within a team. Required 3 Years Working on Microsoft 365 / Azure administration with Hybrid joined domain model. Required 3 Years Working on Microsoft Power Platform to include Power Automate, PowerApps and PowerBI. Preferred 3 Years Working on Unix system administration doing OS support, patching and security vulnerability remediation. Preferred 5 Years Remediation of security vulnerabilities on Windows servers. Preferred 5 Years Writing technical and user documentation for system applications. Preferred 5 Years Automate daily system admin process using scripting. Preferred 5 Years Microsoft SharePoint site planning, design, and implementation Preferred 3 Years Experience using 3rd party SharePoint management and reporting tools. Preferred 3 Years Experience with creating system usage and reporting dashboards.
