Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Denver, CO (Local Candidates) Job Type: Contract Work model : 5 days onsite. Visa Status: US Citizen (Native Citizen) Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT projects, particularly in software or application development, within an Agile/Scrum environment. The candidate must hold a PMP certification, with Scrum certification being a plus. This role requires someone with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to oversee the successful execution of technical projects. Key Responsibilities: Experience Level 12-15 years. Lead and manage end-to-end technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, business analysts, and stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines. Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of Agile/Scrum-based projects, ensuring adherence to best practices. Act as a Scrum Master when needed, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans as necessary. Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management. Ensure proper resource allocation and manage changes to project scope or schedule as needed. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes by leveraging Agile methodologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: PMP Certification is mandatory. Agile/Scrum experience, with Scrum certification being a plus. Minimum 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in software development or application development environments. Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong understanding of project management tools and techniques. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to success. Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in risk management, issue resolution, and change management. Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar. Preferred Qualifications: Scrum Master Certification (CSM or equivalent).
