System Administrator Columbus, Ohio Hybrid 2 days in office, 3 days remote Must be local Need Only local candidates from Columbus, OH As a System Administrator, she or he is responsible for implementing, integrating, and managing required contact center infrastructure, application, unified communication, and endpoint devices to enable business operation to support aging community. Thrives in a fast past, changing environment. Design infrastructure architecture to align with departments strategic plan, including servers, cloud, networks, VoIP, etc. Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter. Provide direct support in daily network and systems operations including the evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time, and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems. Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution. Perform windows updates, software patches, and firmware upgrades. Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns. Provide configuration recommendations and assistance to include troubleshooting and de-bugging support for implementation projects and initiatives. Work closely with internal and external users, and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy, and maintain production environment. Respond to and resolve help desk requests, including server, network, and endpoint devices. Responsible for the endpoint device deployment. Respond to security related activities to maintain network security and data reliability. Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting software and application systems as assigned. Assist the on-going mobility projects in process development and documentation to ensure a smooth and consistent end user experience. Write and edit automation scripts to increase systems and task efficiency. Write and maintain technical documentation. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study. Required 4 10+ years of endpoint administration and support experience. Required 10 7+ years of system/server implementation and integration experience Required 7 7+ years of incident event management system implementation and integration experience Required 7 5+ years of unified communication experience Required 5 5+ years of project management experience Required 5 Professional Certification in server, and/or network, is desired Required Excellent knowledge of both infrastructure and endpoint device implementing and integration. Required Excellent knowledge of wireless access points, network administration and security concepts and technology Required Strong knowledge of deployment and management systems Required Strong knowledge of configuring, implementing, and managing systems Required Ability to drive results with a sense of urgency relative to the end user. Required Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Required Ability to break down required tasks in project deployment. Required Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients, and the public.
