ETL SQL Nice To Have Apache NiFi Banking/Financial Services Background Regulatory Reporting experience Job Summary: We are seeking an **Application Developer - Axiom IV** to develop, create, and modify computer applications software or specialized utility programs. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, systems analysts, and engineers to design and enhance software systems tailored to optimize operational efficiency. This role involves software customization, database development, and occasional supervision of computer programmers. Must have Primary Responsibilities: Consult with customers on software system design and maintenance. Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems, gather project requirements, and define performance expectations. Modify and improve existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, and enhance performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to ensure design feasibility within time and cost constraints. Coordinate the installation of software systems and monitor equipment to ensure specifications are met. Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to measure the outcome and consequences of the design. Develop and oversee software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Analyze and plan computer specifications, layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications based on information such as reporting formats, costs, and security needs. Supervise the work of programmers, technologists, technicians, and other engineering personnel. Evaluate factors like reporting formats, costs, and security to determine hardware configurations. Define and monitor system performance standards. Train users to use new or modified software and hardware systems. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data to analyze system capabilities and requirements. Qualifications: Technical Degree or related discipline. Proven experience in designing and building applications. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as **C#** or **Java (J2EE)**.
