| Cognos Architect || Remote Job summary : The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Cognos technology, coupled with experience in data modeling, SQL, and Power BI reporting. Required Skills : ,IBM Cognos Report Studio,IBM Cognos Query Studio,Power BI,DAX - Power BI,Data modelling - Power BI Responsibilities : -- Migration Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive migration strategy for our Cognos reporting environment, considering factors such as data volume, complexity, and performance requirements. - Data Modeling: Design and optimize data models to ensure efficient and accurate reporting. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to create robust and scalable data structures. - Cognos Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of Cognos architecture, components, and best practices. Be proficient in using Cognos tools for report development, administration, and performance tuning. - Power BI Experience: Must have profound knowledge and experience in building semantic models, designing, and developing Power BI reports. Should have good understanding of Power BI Service, Gateway, and Licensing models. Must be familiar with Power BI Architecture, best practices, and standards.
