Job Description: Job Description Job Title: QTest Architect Location: Lislle, IL(Hybrid) 3 Days Onsite a week We are looking for a qTest Architect to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our test automation framework using Tricentis qTest. As a qTest Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products by creating and executing test cases, managing test data, and integrating with CI/CD tools. You will also collaborate with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Job Duties Design, develop, and maintain test automation framework using Tricentis qTest and Tosca Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for various software products and features Manage test data and test environments using qTest tools and best practices Integrate test automation framework with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps Troubleshoot and resolve test automation issues and defects Generate and analyze test reports and metrics using qTest Insights and other tools Provide technical guidance and support to other test engineers and developers Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and qTest Ensure Qtest is connected to ADO, TOSCA, NEOLOAD and JIRA OTHER Responsibilities include 1. Create and manage a project in qTest 2. Set up a Test Plan 3. Create and import Requirements 4. Create and approve test cases in the Test Design section 5. Execute test cases and log defects in the Test Execution section 6. Perform Exploratory Testing, Parameterization, and Jira integration 7. Utilize Different settings 8. Utilize the qTest best practices Skills And Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 12+ years of experience in software testing and 5+ years of experience as Test Admin/ Architect in qTest 3+ years of hands-on experience in using Tricentis qTest and Tosca Proficient in test automation tools, languages, and frameworks such as Selenium, Java, Python, Cucumber, or TestNG Experience in installing, configuring, operating, testing, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and standards Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Certifications in qTest or any Tricentis certification is required Working in Onsite (3 days a week Naperville, IL ) is mandatory Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment Illinois QTest Architect [email protected] |
