| Position: Snowflake Architect Location: Burback CA (Onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description: The Snowflake Architect Should Develop analytics based solutions that produce quantitative and qualitative business insights Work with partners as necessary to integrate systems and data quickly and effectively regardless of technical challenges or business environments Lead effort to design build n configure applications acting as primary POC Snowflake Architecture Experience in designing and architecting Snowflake projects Expertise in Snowflake Data Modeling ELT using Snowflake SQL implementing stored procedures and standard DWHETL concepts Own end to end RFP or RFI or Proactive proposals client presentations n solution workshop Contribute in area ie estimation building PoVs offerings development training and capability building Client facing role in term of running solution workshops client visits handled large RFP pursuits n managed multiple stakeholders Clear understanding of Snowflakes advanced concepts like virtual warehouses query performance using micro partitions and pruning zero copy clone time travel resource monitors n security control methods including network data role based etc He should be proficient with data platform architecture design data dictionaries multidimensional models objects star and snowflake schemas as well as structures for data lakes data science and data warehouses using Snowflake Responsibilities will also include technical delivery review resolution of architecture issues and for the migration of the existing onpremises application to AWSAzure Snowflake platform Demonstrate expertise in Snowflake data modeling and ELT using Snowflake SQL implementing complex stored procedures and best practices with data warehouse and ETL concepts Deploy fully operational data warehouse solutions into production on Snowflake Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the designarchitecture Perform project management activities including project documentation business requirements and project tracking Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake Developing scripts Unix Python etc to do Extract Load and Transform data Handson experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL SnowPipe Python Tasks Streams Time travel Optimizer Metadata Manager data sharing and stored procedures Indepth understanding of Data WarehouseODS ETL concept and modeling structure principles Experience in Data warehousing OLTP OLAP Dimensions Facts and Data modeling Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements Good working knowledge of any ETL tool Ability to effectively function in a cross teams environment" Drive Snowflake + AWS Architecture design and enhancement of existing architecture discussions with customer and resident Data Architect. Orchestrating the flow from source to target building and transformation logic using DBT between layers (RAW -> Curated -> GOLD). Expertise in Data Migration from RDBMS (Oracle/Teradata/SQL server/SAP HANA etc..) to Snowflake cloud data warehouse. Migration strategies from Azure to AWS Data Quality, Data Governance, Monitoring and Alerting. Establishing Standards, Best practices w.r.t Domain (viz Naming convention), RBAC setup etc. ELT tool integration decisions Strong experience in source code management, CICD tools. Expertise in multiple coding and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. Co-ordination with the Stakeholders to understand the requirements, conducting reviews and sign-off.
