| Sr. ACE Developer Spruce Tech INC is looking for an experienced IBM ACE (Application Connect Enterprise) Developer for. The project will begin a senior level role and you would be involved with sprint planning, API diagrams, API development and working with various teams, including offshore resources. Our client is an insurance client with multiple complex integration points and needs someone with strong overall ACE skills (ESQL) and API understanding. This is a remote work role, but some onsite availability in the Chicago North suburbs would be a plus. Job Responsibilities Work with PM, architects, BAs and offshore team relative to integration design and development Provide technical insight for integration approaches Design, develop and test integration solutions using ACE Work closely with and take direction from Integration work stream and project leaders Coordinate integration development work with Integration team Perform code review and unit testing for each integration interface Work with testing teams for integration testing and QA testing Identify and support technical risk management with the Integration team Resolve technical issues related to integration design and development work Perform as an individual contributor for integration design and development work Continuously pursue opportunities for improvement Requirements Strong IBM ACE design and development skills, especially custom ESQL development Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architectures. Strong skills in ESQL, Graphical mapping, Java compute, Web services, MQ, SOAP, HTTP, File and Database nodes. 8+ years of hands-on development, primarily in the technologies and skills mentioned above Strong skills in auditing and monitoring message flows. Strong skills in XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON, RESTful, Flat file, CSV message formats. Experience in SQL Server and DB2 is a plus. Experience working on large, mission critical projects Ability to effectively deal with and resolve issues Proactive and self-starter Experience integrating package solutions Strong understanding of and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus Knowledge of ACORD standards is a plus Experience with iterative development methods a plus -- Keywords: quality analyst business analyst message queue information technology Sr. ACE Integrations Developer | 2 Days a week Hybrid in Lake forest, IL [email protected] |
