Title: Teradata Consultant Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Duration: 6 months (Long term Contract) Client: Delta Airlines NOTE: USC, GC only Interview: 1 virtual, 1 onsite Video screening is a must Must Have: Experience communicating with business stakeholders, leaders to evaluate tools and develop a roadmap or strategy. Senior resource, looking for 12 - 15+ years of exp overall. Strong Teradata querying, performance tuning, and optimization cabling index, table partitioning. Experience modernizing Teradata applications or migrating Teradata from on prem to AWS They are not sure what tools they will need on AWS yet, because they are still forming their roadmap to cloud. AWS: Redshift or RDS, Glue, S3, Strong SQL querying Vantage Master 2.0 certifications / Vantage Data Science Master certifications. Python, CloudFormation, or terraform is a plus. You will be working with business leaders, stakeholders, and engineering teams to develop the roadmap from Teradata on prem to AWS. You will help evaluate which tools will be used and implemented as they transition date to the cloud. Your team owns multiple pricing applications at Delta - these currently use Teradata and are business critical as airline pricing changes every four hours. They are currently on prem, but are looking for a Teradata Engineer who can help build their roadmap to transition to AWS.
