| Job Title: Technical Program Manager (TPM) Location: Phoenix, AZ Onsite/Hybrid role Contract Job Summary: The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale, complex technical projects that span multiple teams or departments. The TPM will work closely with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure timely and within-budget delivery. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project-related communications. Facilitate regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, including executives, project sponsors, and team members. Risk Management: Identify and manage risks and issues related to the project. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential challenges. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate activities between engineering, product management, design, and other teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Technical Expertise: Leverage technical knowledge to understand project requirements, provide input on technical solutions, and resolve technical issues as they arise. Process Improvement: Implement and refine project management processes and best practices. Promote continuous improvement and efficiency within the team and organization. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel and budgets. Ensure that the team has the necessary tools and support to achieve project goals. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and post-project reviews. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) are a plus. Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a technical program management role. Proven track record of managing large, complex technical projects.
