Title: CCWIS Project Management Employment Type: Contract Start Date: 11/04/2024 Term: 1+ Year Location: SE Washington, DC Interview type: Webcam Only Position Overview: The Senior Project Management Officer will manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, workstream activities, system integrator (SI) deliverables, and monitor SI staff productivity for a Child Welfare CCWIS Solution design project. This role ensures efficient project execution, communication, and progress monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Create and onboard project teams, integrating them into the organization and providing a clear product vision. Assist agile teams in effectively implementing and using Azure DevOps (ADO) to automatically measure and report quality and performance metrics to the program's portal. Facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team. Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and promote a culture of agility and learning. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with milestones in collaboration with business leaders, senior management, and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans and communication documents while managing project expectations with team members and stakeholders. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Manage daily team meetings to track project progress, address potential roadblocks, and ensure project timelines are met. Manage a central repository of milestones identified by multiple workstream leads, provide status updates, and escalate risks when necessary. Maintain a risk and issues registry to track progress and manage changes in project scope. Provide oversight of system integrator agile processes, validate staff velocity, and manage time and task submissions on a weekly basis. Provide timely metrics and audit outcomes to measure progress towards quality objectives. Promote Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes to identify and remove project barriers. Desired Qualifications: Experience with project management methodologies, agile processes, and tools such as Azure DevOps. Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively.
